• Greed: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive? Least expensive would probably be anything by ELF.  They are decent products but honestly, I only get them because they’re cheap but I don’t ever use them.  Such a waste of money which is why I need to be stoned.  My most expensive will probably be my serums, perfumes and Giorgio Armani powder.  I tend to buy the BIGGEST bottles of whatever I’m getting so maybe that’s why they end up so pricey!

• Wrath: What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get? Like Denise, the beauty product I have a love/hate relationship with is probably mascara.  I love wearing them but almost every single brand (cheap or high end) weighs my lashes down.  I don’t really know what to do anymore!  I tried eyelash extensions once but they were a pain (literally) and I had headaches for weeks on end until I realized that I was allergic to the glue.

• Gluttony: What are your most delicious beauty products? Right now it’s my Jo Malone perfume in Nectarine Blossom & Honey.  It smells like fresh honey, melons and cotton candy.  I have an obsession of spraying it on my wrist before I go to bed at night!  Hmm.  A lot of my Lush bath products (Honey I Washed The Kids, RockStar, It’s Raining Men and Porridge) are also very delicious!

• Sloth: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness? Lotion.  I tend to buy a lot (read: expensive) use them for a couple of weeks and totally forget about them.  Actually, the main reason why I always stop using them is because I’m on my laptop, phone, fiddling with the remote control, kindle etc right before I go to bed and I really don’t want any gross lotion smearing all over my stuff!  And by the time I’m sleepy and ready to get in my, I’m too tired to put on lotion. I know. FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS. LOL

• Pride: What beauty product gives you the most self-confidence? Probably my moisturizers and serums.  Honestly, I am comfortable in my own skin to not wear any makeup (not even concealer) and as long as I know I have a healthy skincare regime, I’m pretty confident.  But on days where my skin look like crap, it’s my foundation and powder.

• Lust: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? I am always attracted to strong, athletic men. Broad shoulders and someone who looks sporty.  I never admit it but I like tall guys too. *shrugs*.  I guess I’m attracted to athletic guys is because when I was younger, I almost drowned and a HOT (or so I imagined) blond lifeguard saved me.  TRAUMATIC SELECTIVE MEMORY, I guess. LOL!

• Envy: What items would you most like to receive as a gift? I LOVE LOVE LOVE perfumes as gifts.  I only get my own perfume if I really love it but most of them, I ask my dad to get it for me and tell everyone that it was a gift from him! LOL.  Perfumes are so personal and I think it’s so much more meaningful when it’s given as a gift.  Plus they are so friggin expensive I kinda hate spending so much on them and would rather have someone spend on me!! bwahahaha!

Ive been talking about Jo Malone for the past week because I am OBSESSED!!!  Yes, obsessed!  I’ve actually been spraying a little bit on my wrist just before I go to bed at night.  ^_^

Anyway, I’m kinda annoyed that the pictures I took got corrupted and I really don’t want to take another set of pictures (kinda ridic because I already opened it up and used it) so these instagram pictures will have to do.  The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and I’m thinking of getting another scent but I’m stopping myself because I really don’t need another perfume.  UGH!!!! Anyway, Top notes are green notes, black currant and petit grain, middle notes are nectarine and black locust;,base notes are vetiver, peach and plum.  To me it smells like honey, melon and cotton candy. Hmmm… What are your favorite Jo Malone scents??

After finishing up my Philosophy Hope In A Jar moisturizer, I decided that as much as I loved it, I wanted to try something new.  I pretty much never stick to the same product because I am a product whore and I want to try every single brand out there without commitment!  It’s SO hard to stick with ONE thing. SO SO SO SO hard.  My skin type is basically normal to dry, but it’s a little drier around the corners of my mouth and cheeks.  My mom has always told me that it’s better to be oily than dry because you can get rid of acne (which oily skin can cause) but you can’t erase wrinkles!  This line is seared into my brain, therefore, I am always on a hunt to find the perfect, hydrating moisturizer.  I love American and European brands but I’m partial to Asian brands.  A few years back, my skincare products consisted of the Japanese brand Kose, exclusively.  Buuuut, I got tired of it and decided to experiment.

Anyway, I am still on the lookout for the perfect moisturizer, but before I find it, I wanted to try Laneige’s infamous Water Sleeping Pack.  Basically it’s a “mask” that you put on after your moisturizer before you go to bed. It’s supposed to get activated while you sleep. Umm, I don’t know about that but it’s not breaking me out and I THINK it’s helping hydrate my skin so I’m pretty happy with it.  You’re supposed to only use it 2-3 times a week but I use it everyday but only on areas where my skin is extra dry.  I put it on the back of my hands too!

I got the limited edition jar because it’s SO cute.  It reminds me of Prada’s elusive fairy bag!

After turning a year old (ahem), I was on a mission to find a hardcore serum that will help preserve the face that I have now! LOL.  I guess you can say that Asians are pretty lucky in the “you look so much younger than your actual age” game but seriously everyone needs all the help they can get!  I went to the mall the day after I turned 30 (*gasp*) and got my hands on Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair (or ANR) and for the price, it better friggin work!!!  The bottle is huge and you only use it at night (but I use it in the mornings too because I read somewhere that you can, but if you can’t please tell me!)  and it will probably last me forever.  A lot of people on MUA complains about the smell (seriously everyone in that forum complain about EVERYTHING!) but it really doesn’t bother me at all.  It smells a bit medicine-y but I like that.. I feel like it’s more potent in the “repairing” category!  I really wouldn’t trust a serum (that’s supposed to help repair or erase wrinkles) that smelled like fruits or flowers.. I don’t know.  It’s probably just me and I’m kinda weird like that.

First Impression:  I usually wake up with my face super greasy or super dry, depends on how much moisturizer has wiped off on my pillows but I’ve been waking up with really plump, moisturized and “bright” skin. I don’t know know if it’s just my imagination but A+ for immediate results!  *slow clap Estee, slow clap*.  I guess it’s gonna take more than a week for actual results, but so far, so good.  I’m really impressed.  I think it’s still crazy expensive but it’s about time I invest in a more age-appropriate skincare.  Have you tried ANR?  Reviews?
